BM-Auto Engineering was started in March of 1995 by Rubin Sadique, a super keen BMW motorsport participant.
BM-AE has done many world first and Australian first conversions with the first (M50) 24v engine into E30 3 series happening in 1996 and first V8 (M60) in 1994. A favourite was the first M3 (S50) 3.2 and six speed to a 323 coupe in 2001.

Today we still use Rubin's and his experience as a senior technician when needed (but he won't work Mondays). We do only use senior technicians with the experience and enthusiasm that is the hallmark of any BM-AE conversion or tune. The racecars and both "The Bimmer Club" and BMW Clubs Australia all continue to enjoy the sponsorship and support of BM-AE and will do so for years to come ...........just ask us!
Hugh Blackburne bought the business from Rubin in December of 2009 and had a good go at making BM-AE his own, but working nightshift found the going very tough and took the offer Owen made him this July 2010. We all wish Hugh the very best in the future

Today a new owner for BM-AE in Owen LeMay (and senior technician) . Owen started in 1989 working for his father in a Morley workshop till completing his training and becoming a certified trademan, after much experiance in the automotive industry working for others and running there businesses for them, he took the plunge and bought the strugling Euro Engines in 2007. While making a success of this he ran into a problem his leasing. The owner wants to modify his units and Owen was in the way of this project.
Owen comes to us bringing his enthusiasm for a new lease on life for BM-Auto engineering! ....well all that may be true, but we think he just got sick of seeing us enjoy BMWs and had to join us!
