1990 E32 730SE now sporting a 4.0l 32 valve V8

In 1995 I was told this could not be done!

Well, after shifiting the ABS unit with new brakes and brake lines, using the hydraulic assist from a 750i instead of the normal vacuum assist brake system and lots of experimentation of parts that were common with both the 730 and 750 the conversion was done. The original RHD formfit headers were used and a custom 2 x 2 1/4 stainless steel exhaust system was made.

At the time this conversion was done I did not have the information I have today, so the engine harness was spliced and connected by AUTO CLASSIC, the only BMW dealer in Perth.

That situation forced me to find information from America, the only country in the world that has consumer rights to product information at that level. Today, of course we have scanner technology.
