Ben's already "nice" Z3 has had a major power transplant!
This mild 1997 Z3 2.8 is now the proud owner of a full transplant from a genuine 2000 "M Roadster".

Problems that no-one could has foreseen came from one being build in the USA (Z3) and one from Germany (M). This gave us many small headaches as nothing in the body pressings is the same, close but not the same!

Ben had purchhased a whole "M Roadster" to do this and I'm glad he did, this would not have been completed without all the little bits needed to do a nice job. Next time we will just buy a 3.2 E36 M3 to do this as it has the same EWS as the Z3 whereas the German roadster has a halfway system between an E36M3 and an E46M3 with "canbus" (dont try this at home).
Using our GT-1 system we realigned/recorded and now its all good!
